Auction Terms & Conditions James Auction Service Ltd. - Online Auction Terms and Conditions ** The owners and James Auction Service Ltd. are not responsible for accident or loss. ** ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS: Please review Terms and Conditions prior to bidding. By placing a bid, you are confirming and accepting the terms and conditions listed below. "AS IS WHERE IS": All items are sold in "AS IS WHERE IS" condition. All sales are final. All items must be paid in full before items leave the auction site. VIEWING: There will be designated viewing times advertised. Please inspect the items you are interested in prior to bidding. If you choose not to inspect the items prior to bidding, that is at your discretion. All sales are final. HIGHEST BID: All items will be sold to the highest bidder, unless a reserve bid has been placed on an item and has not been met. The owners and James Auction Service Ltd. reserve the right to remove or modify a reserve bid at any point. PAYMENT: The terms of sale are VISA, MASTERCARD, DEBIT, E-Transfer, cash or cheque with Proper ID. Cheques are made payable to James Auction Service Ltd. A bank draft may be required. If paying by cheque, James Auction Service Ltd. reserves the right to hold the item until the cheque has cleared the bank. If this is the case, the invoice must still be paid in full during the advertised Pick Up period. E-Transfers should be sent to stewartjamesauctioneer@gmail.com. Please provide the name of the registered user in the comments. All invoices totaling $500 or less may automatically be charged to the Credit Card on file. All invoices greater than $500 may be charged a $500 non-refundable deposit to the Credit Card on file, with the balance due at pick up. BUYER'S PREMIUM: There will be a 7.5% Buyer's Premium applied to all online purchases (up to a maximum of $2500 per item). HST: 13% HST will be applied to all purchases where applicable. HST will also be applied to the buyer's premium. AUCTION LISTING: The auction listing is provided as a resource and each item has been described and pictured to the best of our knowledge. The condition and description of the items are not guaranteed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect the items prior to bidding. ITEM RETRIEVAL: There is no shipping available. All items must be picked up during designated times for each auction. Any instances where pickup cannot occur during the scheduled Pick Up times must be discussed and agreed upon with James Auction Service Ltd. INTERNET AND SYSTEM FAILURES: James Auction Service Ltd. reserves the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of internet and system failures.
